Le Tas de Sable - Ches Panses Vertes (France)

Ballerina, Ballerina is a performance that takes an unusual look at the world around us through the poetic language of the protagonist Ballerina. In this puppet adaptation of Marko Sosič's award-winning novel, we follow a girl who has stopped speaking and mentally developing. Her view of things is characterised by a simplicity that touches the reader deeply. Through her thoughts, we discover her world, the lives of those close to her and their views of her... And Ballerina does not pass judgement (on them), she simply feels, often wonders and listens a lot. The audience will watch the performance with headphones, through which the sound and text of the performance will be transmitted using special binaural sound technology.
