Alfa Theatre (Czech Republic) & PUK Tokyo Puppet Theatre (Japan)

This Czech-Japanese production tells the story of one of the most famous Czech athletes of all time, the gymnast Věra Čáslavská. Her sporting fame first touched the stars at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where she won three individual gold medals and a team silver. But this is not a historical reconstruction, but a fictional story with fairytale elements based on some real events. In addition to the birth of the sporting legend Věra Čáslavská, who won the hearts of Czech and Japanese audiences alike, the production tells another story - the story of the Czech-Japanese encounter.
