L'Alinea (France)
Little Stories Without Words consists of three miniatures in which the animator Brice Coupey, accompanied by the double bass player Jean-Luc Ponthieux, creates a world full of poetry, humour and surprise. It is a masterful reinterpretation of classic commedia dell'arte techniques that brings puppet characters to life in physically comical situations. A brilliant animation that joins the field of contemporary reinterpretations of canonical puppetry techniques and proves their relevance in the field of contemporary art.
