Paper Theatre is a contemporary circus performance that uses paper animation, clowning and physical theatre to harness the power of imagination to alleviate the burden of loneliness and open up a poetic and dreamlike world. The animator creates paper puppets on stage and then uses helium balloons, fans and tape to bring them to life and place them in different situations, all set in the context of an exuberant birthday party.

Rauxa is a Catalan theatre company led by Xavi Sánchez and Analia Serenelli, circus artists specialising in object theatre. They founded it in 2018 with the aim of creating their own universe in which to express their tragicomic yet poetic vision of life. They tour the whole world with their productions.
