This story by the astonishing and world-famous Swedish author Astrid Lindgren takes us into a whole new world full of bandits, mushroom goblins, wild forests and adventurous landscapes. Between two fiercely rivalling gangs, the children, who belong to different robber clans, make their own way in life and embark on a whole new adventure. Their story is one of friendship and a strong bond between two honest souls.

Theatre for Children and Youth Skopje is the only national theatre that specialises in children and young audiences. Founded by government on 2 February 1990, it first opened its curtains to the public on 25 March 1990 and since then has been creating fairy tales in a different, joyful and magical spirit for children, youngsters and adults. The theatre also organises the International Children's Theatre Festival.
